• IDPA - Now's the time to gear up for the Indiana state match in later this month!!!  AtlantaCC is up on Saturday and will conduct a classifier after the regular match for an additional $10 fee.  Red Brush and Silver Creek are also up on Saturday for those of you a bit further south.

• I just got in a shipment of Blackhawk CQC Level 1 right-handed holsters for 1911, XD and Glock 17/22.  Get a holster and two matching magazine holders for $60 (plus tax/ship if applicable).  Otherwise $28 for a holster and $18 for a mag holder.

• ICORE - Wildcat Valley in Brookston will host an ICORE match  on Saturday morning (p.s. - lots of variety on Saturday this month!).  $15/125 rounds (min.)
• Multi/Pistol & 3-Gun - Okay, now for something completely different.  Wildcat will switch gears...sorta...for Sunday.  You can shoot either a 6-stage multi-gun match (12 slugs, 50 birdshot, 90 ea for pistol and rifle) for $20 or a 4-stage USPSA pistol match (125 round) for $15.  Wow!!!  ACC is also on for a 3-gun match on Sunday.  Exact round count is not yet finalized, but bring 50 birdshot, and at least 75 ea of rifle and pistol.  Throw a few boxes of slugs in the bag just to be sure and go out and support John, Steve and company up there at Atlanta.

• USPSA - ACC is up on Sunday.  Larry tells me that there will be some double moving target which sounds like more fun than should be allowed.  5 stages and it all starts at 10 am.  Also on Sunday, Silver Creek is up for you folks in the south and then Warsaw for those of you the opposite direction!!!

• IDPA - Jim Barbour will be at ACC tomorrow morning, September 7, to run any interested persons through the IDPA classifier.

• ACT - Adaptive Consulting and Training - will host a USPSA match near Greencastle, IN on October 25th ***NEW DATE*** October 18th.  This match is open to any C, D, unclassified or inexperienced shooter looking to improve their match performance or learn more about competitive action pistol shooting.  Competitors will be coached on skills such as grip, stance, movement, reloading, stage breakdown, etc.
