Steel - Pistol Steel
shooting is fast, fun and exciting. We're listing steel matches
here in the pistol section because that is what these matches center
around. But, don't be surprised if you see .22 LR rifles, pistol
caliber carbines or even shotguns. Steel shooting is fun and an
easy
way to get introduced into competitive shooting!!!

NRA Action Pistol NRA Action pistol is the most
supreme test of marksmanship in
all of the action shooting sports. A typical match consists of the four
Bianchi Cup championship events: the (modified) Moving Target, the
the Barricade, the Practical and the Falling Plates for a total of 192
rounds. Minimum caliber is
9x19 for autos and 38 Special for wheelguns. You can even shoot .22

IDPA- Pistol International
Defensive Pistol
Association matches are similar
to USPSA matches
in both targets and courses of fire. They differ in scoring
method, shooting style, use of cover and concealment. IDPA matches are
fun, exciting and great tests of your gear and ability!!!
